to this event where each is called out by name and presented with a certificate of appreciation for service to the country.
Our 281st group were also accorded this honor.
This year a special surprise ceremony was included to present Aaron Rich with the Air Medal.

The first series are at the Cascade Middle School followed by scenes from the Vancouver Marriot Hotel where Georgia arranged a reception with family, friends and the "281st Bunch" attending. The final series of pics are from Aaron and Georgias home in Camas, Washington where the celebration continued. The five photo's at the beginning show our intrepid recon team being briefed by school officials on the day prior to the event. Further down the young man between Don Torrini and Don Ruskauff is Alejandro (AJ) Navarro, Aaron's grand-son, who is a student at Cascade MS.
